Uploading large images to your site can slow down your site a large amount if you are not careful. We recommend you always optimize your images for the web but if you have multiple authors it can sometimes be difficult. In this video, we will show you how to bulk resize large images in WordPress.

Summary of this Tutorial:
Start by installing and activating the Imsanity plugin.
Go to Settings, Imsanity to configure the plugin.
You can configure the max image width, default is 1024×1024 but you can change it.
Save your changes and you will see a search image button.
Once you click on it you can find the files larger than the new max size.
If it finds any you can click resize checked images and the plugin will resize all images to the new settings.

(4.5.2). If you check the support tab for this plug-in you’ll see
