Allowing users to register on your site can sometimes open the door to spam registrations. While you can delete registrations after the fact there is a way to moderate them like comments. In this video, we will show you how to moderate new user registrations in WordPress.

Start by activating and installing the New User Approve plugin.
The plugin works out of the box and does not require a setup.
Now when a user registers you will see them to be able to approve or deny the request.
If you approve the user will get an email with their password and if denied they will get an email stating the email was denied.
Denying a user will not remove them from the database but it will stop them from registering with the same username and email address.
New User Approve
