WEBFI-TECH-Parkour Atlas
Atlas does parkour. The control software uses the whole body including legs, arms and torso, to marshal the energy and strength for jumping over the log and leaping up the steps without breaking its pace. (Step height 40 cm.) Atlas uses computer vision to locate itself with respect to visible markers on the approach to hit the terrain accurately. For more information visit www.BostonDynamics.com.

No Nike shoes required.
0:06 Proof that this ain't CGI is the way the robot lands on this wooden platform. If it was CG, the top platform would have not moved, the editor would add a loud wooden slap sound and the shadows would be almost invisable.
I want to see a movie about a atlas unit
Can you imagine some little cave dwelling taliban guy watching 20 of these running towards him.
You can't run from Atlas.
This scares the living daylight out of me.
I was busy being a little boy while this was happening

Incredible but scary for our future..
Building our own demise.
Humans look at robot
Intellegently designed
Humans look at all nature and other humans far more advanced then robots
Pure chance and blind unguided natural processes

That robot is more physically fit and atheletic than most people.
2020: Humans make robot jump over logs.
2030: Robots make humans jump over logs.
Лучше бы сделали робота лесоруба, который способен большие спиленные брёвна переносить и грузить в лесовоз.
This is the video of all the successful parkour attempts. I would pay good money to see the attempts where the robot ate absolute shit
🙁
Oh we’re so fucked as a species…
우와
I dont get all these people in the comments because us humans are more animal like than robots could ever be and that proved people blame their bad behaviour on something needed
Its this real?!
