Summary of this tutorial:
Start by going to Plugins, Add New and installing and activating the Worth The Read plugin.
With the plugin installed you will be able to visit Settings, Worth The Read to customize the settings for your progress bar and once it is ready check the Enable option.
You will even be able to select where on your page you want the progress bar to appear.
