Summary of this tutorial:
Start by installing and activating the Menu Shortcode plugin under Plugins, Add New.
https://wordpress.org/plugins/menu-shortcode/
To use the plugin you would first want to go under Appearance, Menus to create a menu to place in your posts and pages named however you like.
With the menu created you can go to the post or page you want the menu to appear on.
Add the shortcode to the editor on the page and update your changes.
Your menu should now be listed on the page it was added to where you can add any CSS to change it you like.

How can I create a quick navigation menu in my posts, so that visitors can navigate my posts and go to a specific part quickly?
Thanks for the video, look forward to trying this out and using effectively in my posts
Any idea how to edit the code so I can use a custom image rather than the default bullet icon?
my only complaint is that there does not seem to be a convenient button in the WYSWIG editor to place the shortcode. But other than that, GREAT!
It doesnt work very well because if there are subelements in a big element it doesnt work as a bond it works individually and thats a fail…
Hi, I followed the instructions, however when I view the page where my shortcode is, there are gaps in the menu items. I am using Sydney theme in wordpress? Do you know what the problem might be??
Definitely wanting a horizontal menu, like you see in typical headers. Does anyone know how to do that?
please tell me how to apply menu arch in a post
You didnt say where you got the shortcode from? – "just add the shortcode"
Is there any way to embed the menu with the *featured image* for each post?
