Summary of this tutorial:
Start by visiting the Facebook Ads Manager:
https://www.facebook.com/ads/manager
Click on the create pixel button and it will show you a popup. Simply enter a name for your pixel which can be a name of your business or product and press the create pixel button.
You should receive a success message where you will be able to click Install Pixel Now.
Facebook will give you a code to copy onto your site and the simplest way to add that would be to use the plugin Insert Headers and Footers.
https://wordpress.org/plugins/insert-headers-and-footers/
Copy and paste the pixel code into the header section under Settings, Insert Headers and footers and save your changes.

Thank you. That was quick and easy to do!
Is there a way to fire this pixel in an email? Of course they would need to open the email. I could add it to one of my autoresponder messages.

How would I create Pixcels for an account that has two FB pages?
What if you only want the pixel on one page of your website
Great video! I also found a Chrome extension that will tell you if the pixel is active, just google "Facebook Pixel Helper"
Too bad it can only be installed in the BUSINESS plan of WP, not the premium or personal one. Whch by now it should be available…

Thank you so much!!
Thanks for a good video! If I install the pixel just like you did, will the pixel be able to track which pages the visitors are going to? So if I would like to retarget a group of visitors visiting product X the pixel will exclude visitors who only visit product Y?
Excellent! Thanks for making it so simple 🙂
